Community Education

Topics around grief

The Compassionate Friends Victoria have a number of education programs that can be tailored to suit any audience and every program is presented by a trained speaker with lived experience. Our presentations aim to provide a better understanding of grief, to assist the audience in feeling more confident in knowing what to say to someone who has experienced the loss of a child or sibling and to generate awareness about our support services.

Community Education for Your Business

TCFV can work with your staff to help them to know the right behaviours and phrases to support a grieving person return to work and become more comfortable, more quickly.  We can also work with your team leader to help them understand grief and bereavement and so, identify early warning signs of distress.
