Walking Through Grief (2 December)

A monthly self-care event. Light exercise and a walk along safe tracks in Canterbury. An opportunity to mix with bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents. Please bring hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. We meet at 10:45am for an 11am start at TCFV Centre, 229 Canterbury Road, Canterbury.

Canterbury Book Club

The Book Club is an opportunity to discuss books that we’ve read which explore grief and
bereavement. We will also look at books that examine subjects such as self-care and spirituality through the lens of grief. Furthermore, the Book Club offers the opportunity to explore what’s available at the TCFV Library.

The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honour the memories of our children, siblings and grandchildren.

Highlights: Guest speaker, poems and readings, candle lighting including the reading of names, slideshow of photos, sharing time, tears and laughter.
