On July 27, we will be supporting Sean Bell as he aims to run for 24 hours to raise awareness for The Compassionate Friends Victoria in memory of his mate and former teammate, Joseph Moschetti. This event is a small step to his overall Jog for Joey campaign, which is to run around Australia in 2020 to help change the way grieving families are treated.
We invite you to come down at any time of the day or night to support Sean as he challenges himself to run for a full 24 hours.
To create a community atmosphere, TCFV will be providing an expo type experience, allowing members of the community to sample services TCFV provides such as Yoga, Reiki and art classes free of charge.
A children’s activity zone will be set up, a BBQ will be running throughout the day and a DJ will be playing music until late evening and the Vermont Eagles Football Club’s bar will be selling drinks from 7:00pm – midnight. After midnight, bring a beanbag or some comfy cushions and join us for a movie marathon until 7:00am and be there to congratulate Sean on completing 24 hours of running.
TCFV and the Jog for Joey team would like to thank the Vermont Eagles Football Club for their generous support of this event.Â
