Canterbury Book Club

June 6 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Book Club is currently in recess due to a number of members being away, but will resume in August 2023. If you’d like to be notified when new dates are announced, please contact Andrew McNess at: andrewm@tcfv.org.au

The Book Club is a social group and an opportunity to discuss any book that we have read, some books explore grief and bereavement but it’s not necessary that they do.

The Book Club does also offer the opportunity to explore the grief, spirituality and self-help books that are available here in the TCFV Library.

Unlike other book groups, we don’t need to read the same book. Everyone will be able to read their own choice of book and report back to the club. Feel welcome to bring along a book that you have found personally beneficial in your grief journey, or just come along and find out what others have been reading.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Book Club is different from TCFV support group meetings, focussing instead on grief-related literature, rather than “where we are at in our grief”.  If you are new to TCFV and the experience  of discussing your grief, we highly recommend you first attend group meetings for a period of time, as the Book Club is a discussion group on what we have been reading.
