BEREAVED MEMBERSHIP
Membership is Now Free: No Cost. No Barriers. Just Support.
At The Compassionate Friends Victoria, we walk beside parents, siblings and grandparents who are grieving the loss of a child, sibling or grandchild. When your world has changed in such a heartbreaking way, we believe that finding support should never depend on what you can afford.
That is why we have made an important change.
In the past, we asked for a small annual fee after your first year. But this no longer felt right. Grief already takes so much — emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially. Our support should never add to that burden.
Whether you are coming along to a support group, calling our grief line, visiting the Canterbury Centre or reading our magazine, we want you to know you are always welcome here.
No fees. No pressure. No expectations.
You are part of our community for as long as you need to be.
This decision reflects what we stand for:
Connection without conditions.
As a member, you will still have the opportunity to vote at our Annual General Meeting and help guide the future of TCFV. To those who continue to donate, we are so grateful. Your support helps keep the lights on, the phones answered and the doors open. Every dollar truly makes a difference, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Prefer a printed magazine?
We know how comforting our printed magazine is for so many. For $60 a year, we will post you four issues of our printed magazine (one each quarter).
If you would rather read the magazine online, the full colour digital version will continue to be emailed to you at no cost.
You do not need to do anything to stay a member; you are already part of our circle of care.
We are here. We understand. And we will walk beside you, every step of the way.
A TCFV membership can be established in one of two ways:
- by calling 1300 064 068 / (03) 9888 4944
- or signing up here.
