The Compassionate Friends Victoria warmly invites you to join us for our Worldwide Candle Lighting Service, a special evening of remembrance held each year to honour the lives and memories of our children, siblings and grandchildren.
The Worldwide Candle Lighting is the largest mass candle-lighting event in the world. As candles are lit across the globe, we come together to remember those we love, to share their stories and to be surrounded by others who understand the journey of grief.
Please bring a framed photo of your loved one.
The evening will include:
- A special guest speaker
- Poems and readings
- Candle lighting at 7:00pm
- A slideshow of photos of our loved ones
- Time to share, reflect and remember
- And, as always, there may be hugs, tears, laughter and moments of connection
